The park entrance is off Keyes Hill Rd. about 1/4 mile west of Mammoth Rd. Look for the wooden sign on the left if coming from Mammoth Rd.

Elmer G. Raymond was a Pelham serviceman who was killed in a training accident during World War II. The start of the park was a large piece of land given up for non-payment of taxes many years ago. Since then various parcels have been acquired, many by donation, such that the park is the largest single publicly owned parcel of land in town.

Enter the park just at the entrance sign and park in the paved parking lot. This lot is maintained in winter. Immediately adjacent to the parking lot is a building used by various youth groups. The building is not open to the public.

The open grassy area abutting the parking area is used for soccer during the season. The park has many trails and lends itself to on or off trail walking, hiking, cross-country skiing, and the like. The ground varies from relatively flat to fairly steep so there is terrain for everyone. Hunting is prohibited.
