Who we are:   The Pelham Garden Group began in 1995 when a few people organized to plant flowers and shrubs in front of the Pelham Public Library. Since then, the group has grown to over fifty members who enjoy plants and gardening.

Meetings: The Group meets on the fourth Saturday of the month although this schedule varies during gardening season. Winter meetings are usually held at the Pelham Senior Citizens Center on Nashua Rd. In the late spring and summer, the group typically meets at the home of a member so we can enjoy and learn about their garden. Watch this site for more detailed information.

Dues: Dues are $10 per household payable April 1 of each year.

Membership: Members do not need to have a large garden to join. Some members join to learn about how to beautify their property, others simply because they enjoy plants and flowers. While some meetings may be posted as members only most meetings are open to the public. Visitors are always welcome. All our meetings are designed to be informal, friendly gatherings.  Memberships are due April 1st - $10.00 per household.

How to Join:    Call Glennie Edwards at 603-635-2612 or e-mail her at   gmae1210e@msn.com

Community Projects: The Garden Group has planted and maintained the garden in front of the old Pelham Public Library, now the Pelham Historical Society building. Each winter, the group has decorated Pelham Common for the holidays. The snowmen, lights, and trees erected on the Common by the Garden Group have become a Pelham tradition.

Activities: The group takes field trips to garden centers, historic or public gardens, and other sites that interest the members. These day trips usually include a stop for lunch.
