2009 - 2010

September - Old Home Day Parade!!! Thank you to the leaders and girls who helped make this float a wonderful representation of Pelham Girl Scouts!

September/October - The Product Sale Fund Raiser will be starting soon and this year there is are new products available! There are nuts, candy and books and a majority of the money goes back to the girls! Please help support this fund raiser!

October -   We will also be helping to clean up our meeting places with Fall and Spring clean ups! A thank you for our sponsors who allow us to use their buildings!

November - Girl Scout Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Troop's annual Camping for Food Vigil will be held. The goal is 100 shopping carts of food to be donated to the Pelham Food Pantry!!
 Also Roller skating will be in November!! All the girls love it!!



December - Good Neighbor Fund. Girls sponsor children and contribute as a troop gifts, food, prepare baskets, etc. The season of giving!

January - COOKIE TIME!!!! Everyone loves Girl Scout cookies! There are usually several Booth Sales held around town so watch for Girls with Cookies!!! The "Girlfriends" theme lent itself to an exciting time!

January - Hawaiian Luau FUND RAISER!!  Help the Girl Scouts support their Community Events with this FUN evening out!  Aloha!

February - Thinking Day.

March - Community Night at Pelham Elementary. Come see what the girls have been doing during the year!

March - Girl Scout Sunday. Churches around town recognize the girls by including them in their celebrations.


March - Guys and Gals! Girls can bring their favorite "guy" for a night of dancing, and fun! A great time is had by all!!






May - Memorial Day Parade! Girls come to march and honor their country!


June - Town wide Bridging Ceremony!! All girls who will be bridging to any level participate and are recognized by the entire Girl Scout community in Pelham for their accomplishments! Congratulations to all!!


July - Girl Scout Camporee time!!!  Swimming, boating and other water activities!!!

There are several important dates in Girl Scouting. Some community events tend to be scheduled around these dates to celebrate their importance.

February 22 - Thinking Day, international celebration of friendship and world peace


 March 12 - Girl Scout Week will contain this day. Birthday of Girl Scouting in USA. Girl Scout Sunday is during this week also

April 22 - Leader's Day when girls can show their appreciation.

October 31 - Juliette Gordon Low's Birthday (also known as Founder's Day)
