Principal's Welcome

 It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Pelham High School web site. As staff members, we have made a commitment to quality, and we uniformly share the mission of PHS, to educate students so that they may pursue life goals, participate fully as active citizens, and become socially responsible community members. Additionally, we believe that to have aspirations is the ability to dream and set goals for the future, while being inspired in the present to reach these dreams. Life, spirit, and collegiality endure within the steel framework of our building. Within the pages of this site endures the tangible materials of our organization. Please avail yourself of the information and links provided. It is my hope that we will continue to do all that is possible to sustain and enhance the vibrant educational life- for every student and parent, and for ourselves. Remember, to have aspirations is the ability to dream and set goals for the future, while being inspired in the present to reach these dreams.

Cell Phones, MP3 Players, Pagers, etc: 
Dear Parents:  This is just a reminder.  The student agenda book states on Page 15:

"Radios, TV's, Etc."
"The use of PAGERS, CELL PHONES, RADIOS, CD or MP# PLAYERS, and TVs is not allowed at PHS.  If brought to school, they must be
 turned off.  Failure to comply will result in the item being confiscated.  PHS is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items." 
If an electronic unit is confiscated from a student, the student may retrieve the article from the main office at the end of the school day.
  If it is the second time (or more) that a student has an item confiscated, the parent will be required to retrieve the item at a later time.

5. Solve authentic problems using technology, mathematical, and scientific skills.
