Career One Stop - This site invites you to explore distance learning opportunities, research funding sources to cover school costs, and evaluate comprehensive career and occupation data.

 

Career Magazine - The site offers information about current employment trends for hundreds of jobs. 

 

Careers and Colleges - It isn't too early to think about your future!  This site lets you search colleges, scholarships, and career options.  The site is supported by advertisement but it has an excellent database.

 

The College Basics - We have reviewed this extensive site for its ease of use, information, and additional links.  If websites could be evaluated the way Ebert suggests movies, this site is TWO THUMBS UP! 

 

Job Corps  The field office is in Boston, MA.  The program gives young adults career skills that are in high demand with employers in exciting fields.

 

Mapping Your Future - The site, created in partnership with ACT offers parents and students information on career, college and financial planning.

 

My Future - This enjoyable site provides an job interest inventory to help students explore limitless possibilities.  My Future also features an excellent career "toolbox" to build a resume, write applications, and prepare for an interview. 

 

NH Network for Job Seekers - Our state proudly offers information that helps you to understand the job market, identify likely employers, and conduct self-directed job searches.
 

New Hampshire Career Resource Network - This site offers career development resources and information about education, jobs, occupations, and careers.

 

Occupational Outlook Handbook - Information on what workers do on the job, the working conditions, the training and education needed, potential earnings, and job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
