Welcome Sophomores!
By definition, you are bit wiser this year! You have
successfully transitioned into high school and have begun to "Map your Future."
If your freshman year was not as stellar as your abilities would suggest it
should have been, now is the time to challenge yourself to live up to who you
really are and can be.
Study hard and do your best in all courses!
Get involved in extra-curricular activities; join a team, become an actor, write
a story or a poem for the Ethereal Patter.
Consider taking
the PSAT in October. Although it is the National Merit Scholarship
Qualifying Test for Juniors, it is a good practice test for sophomores.
PHS Guidance and Career Center recommends the PSAT for students who have taken
at least Algebra I.
