            The Pelham School District is pleased to announce the arrival of the AlertNOW! rapid phone and email communication service that will be put into use this school year. The AlertNOW! system allows the School District to quickly notify parents of emergency situations using recorded phone messages that immediately get delivered to the phone numbers we have on file for you.

 

            We will use this service to notify you of emergency situations such as evacuations and early dismissals due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. You also can choose to be notified with a phone call when school is cancelled or delayed because of snow or inclement weather.

 

            Each school also will have the discretion to use this system for informational messages such as field trip reminders, schedule changes for after school events, etc.

 

            In addition, the District will begin using an email list program to being offering email newsletters to parents and community members. We recognize the value of email as a convenient, quick way of notifying parents about the important events in the Pelham School District. You will have the option of selecting which email newsletters you would like to receive by filling out the form below and returning to school with your son or daughter.

 

            It is critical that we have up-to-date phone numbers and email address(s) on file for you. Please verify the information listed below and return the form with any corrections to school with your son or daughter. If the information we have on file changes, please let your child’s school know immediately.

 

            A test call will be made on September 14^th where you will receive a message verifying that we have the correct information on file for you.
