How to get started in our Scout Pack!  Or email our Cubmaster Randy Cook or Beth Knight!

Cub Scouts is for boys ages 7 - 10, Grades 1 - 5!  Even after our year has begun we welcome new boys!  All new scouts will earn the Bobcat badge then join in on his appropriate age group.  Dens:  Tiger - Age 7, Grade 1, Wolf - Age 8, Grade 2, Bear - Age 9, Grade 3, Webelos Age 10, Grades 4 and 5 - see 'Our Dens, Leaders' page for our Dens!

  1. What do I need to get?  Your Uniform

    1. Your Shirt - Class A button-down, Blue for Tigers, Bears, and Wolves, Khaki for Webelos. (Will host your patches and badges.)  Class B shirt is the light blue t-shirt.

    2. Your Badges - Daniel Webster Council Badge, Den # Badge, Pack numbers, Fleur de Lis.  Your Class A shirt will come with the American Flag and also United States of America sewn on.  You can purchase the badge magic kit to make things easier!  (Class A hosts your badges.)

    4. Your Hat - Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos.

    5. Your Neckerchief - Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos.

    6. Your Slide - Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos. Also: Generic Cub Scout, or handmade.

    7. Belt - Scout web belt with a special buckle. Also: Generic Cub Scout.

  2. Handbook -The handbook is where boy’s track their progress. Boy’s on the Wolf trail, for example, are seeking to earn the rank of Wolf.  If they do not reach this goal they will advance to the next trail at the end of the year (June) without earning the badge.

  3. What do I need to fill out? - The Youth Application Form - The form registers the boy with Boy Scouts of America and with the pack.  Your contact information is needed to communicate with you, as parent, throughout your son’s scouting experience.

  4. What else is there? - Get involved with your Den!  Get to know your leaders and share your ideas!  HAVE FUN!
