** The Scholastic Book Fair is the week of Feb 20-24.  During the student's library time, they will be able to purchase books.  Information will be sent home with your student.

** The PTA needs volunteers for the book fair.  If you can help, please contact Kristen Rodrigue at PES-PTA@pelhamsd.org


** In the month of March, parents and students will be able to order the following PES Clothing:
  • Pelham Wear
  • "Moving Up" Shirts
* Order forms will be sent home in your child's folder.


Memory Book "Things" ....
We need Pictures!!
If you would like to submit a baby picture and picture of your first day at PES to be included in the 5th Grade Memory book, write your name and teachers name on the back of the pictures and send them in to school with your student with "PTA" marked on the envelope.  We will scan the pictures and return them to you.

Want to send a your favorite 5th grader to to the entire class?  Click on the pen above to download the Message Form.  Fill out the form and send it, along with $1.00, into school with your student with "PTA" marked on the envelope.


Attention all 5th Graders!
Want your drawing on the cover of the yearbook?

Here is how to enter:
  1. Create your artwork on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of white paper.  Do not put a border on it, and write your name onthe back.
  2. Submit your artwork to your teacher by January 31, 2012.
The Memory Book committe will review all submissions and decide which design will te this year's cover.

  • Friday, February 3rd
  • During students' lunches
  • Kindergarten students are welcome with a parent between 11:30am and 12:30pm
Family Pasta Night
  • Friday, February 10th
  • 2 Seatings:  5:30 and 6:30
  • Cost:  $3.00 per person
  • Reservation forms due no later than 2/3/12
  • Want to volunteer?  Fill out our Volunteer form and send to school with your student
  • Does your 5th grader want to volunteer?  Fill our our 5th Grade Volunteer form and send it to school with your student.
  • WE NEED DESSERTS for Pasta Night!!  If you can help with a dessert, please contact Christine Brown (cmb489@comcast.net)  All desserts can be dropped at PES on 2/10 after 3:15pm.
Pat's Peak Family Day
  • Saturday, February 11th
  • Skiing: 3pm - 10pm; Tubing: 5pm-10pm
  • $38 per person (children under 5 are free with an $18 rental charge)
