In My Corner
By:  Melissa LaRose

In My Corner
I hold back
Afraid to break
Your fragile existence
Which is all too important
To my own
I draw away
Afraid of telling secret truths
Which I fear
Will scare you away
With one syllable from my lips
And so I remain
Silent in my corner
Hoping someone will notice
The pain in my eyes

Penned a new one? We're waiting for it!
