Basketball
as the American Dream
My
senior project is to research how collegiate and professional basketball
players have come to represent the American Dream.
I will also look at how they have globalized this dream and have
become hero figures to youth and created money making opportunities for
the world economy.

Shishin
in early Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Mythology and
Art
For
my senior project, I will be researching and studying to learn the
significance of the mythical beasts in Early Chinese, Japanese and
Korean mythology and art. I will be focusing on Shishin (four gods in
Chinese): blue dragon, red phoenix, white tiger and black tortoise. I
will also include information on the seven seishuku, or star
constellations

The Impact of
Mentoring
Using
journalistic documentation on children with low self-esteem, I will
showcase the importance of how a mentor can impact their lives in a
positive way, and help them to believe in themselves.

New Method for Teaching Beginning Guitar
My
senior project is teaching chord fundamentals and structure, and song
writing to teens that are just beginning to play the guitar. I will be
researching various methods of teaching beginner guitar, in order to
create a method of my own.

My
senior project is to research the lifestyle of the Himba people of
Namibia, and how tourism and lack of support from their government are
endangering their culture.

Election Strategy in New Hampshire
I
intend to do my Senior Project on political campaigns in New Hampshire
since 2000, focusing on Republican election strategy in selected races
on a local, state and federal level.
