999              SENIOR PROJECT                                       Grade 12

The senior project is an opportunity for seniors to do in-depth research in an area of interest.  The senior develops a proposal for an area of independent study, researches the topic, interviews experts, and presents the information to an evaluation team.  The senior, through semester long diligent effort, is prepared to answer questions in defense of their topic.  Students are graded on attendance, research journals, a three-part reflection paper, and the quality of their presentation.

Prerequisite:  Seniors only with permission of the facilitator.
