 Green Rebates

Plans for the new Pelham High School include green energy initiatives, and which would qualify Pelham for an additional 3% in building aid.

 

 

Ed 321.32  Application for High Performance School Incentive. 

 

        (a)  Any district wishing to apply for the additional 3 percent incentive under RSA 198:15-b,I-a shall indicate such intent on the New Hampshire Department of Education Form A24P, School Building Aid Preliminary Application at the time the form is submitted to the department in accordance with the procedure for building approval under Ed 321.23(b).  The district shall also submit a high performance school score sheet indicating the points that the project is expected to score.

 

        (b)  Upon completion of the project the district shall submit a completed final high performance school score sheet indicating the earned and the necessary supporting documentation for all points claimed. This documentation shall be submitted along with the New Hampshire Department of Education Form A24F,School Building Aid Final Application, at the time the form is submitted to the department in accordance with the procedure for building approval under Ed 321.23(n).

 

        (c)  The bureau of school approval and facility management shall conduct an onsite evaluation to verify the points claimed by the district.

 

        (d)  If the number of qualifying projects results in a total of incentive awards in excess of $100,000, the incentives shall be awarded to the projects scoring the highest number of points until the available incentive funds are exhausted in accordance with RSA 198:15-b,I-a(b).  Completed projects which do not receive the incentive grant shall not be eligible for the incentive in the following or future years.
